1. Data controller

Kode Studio is the data controller for the personal data processed in connection with this website.

2. What data we collect

We use Vercel Web Analytics — a cookie-free analytics tool that does not store IP addresses and does not track you across websites. The tool collects anonymised statistics about:

• Which pages were visited (URL)
• Which page you came from (referrer)
• Country (derived from the IP — the IP address itself is not stored)
• Device type (derived from the browser string — the string itself is not stored)

We do not collect names, email addresses or other directly identifying information via the website. Email sent to us (contact@kodestudio.no) is handled separately and only for communication purposes.

3. Purpose and legal basis

Analytics data is used solely to understand traffic patterns and improve the website. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw your consent at any time by reloading the page and choosing “Only necessary” in the consent dialog, or by clearing your browser’s localStorage for this site.

4. Cookies and storage

kodestudio.no uses no third-party cookies. Vercel Web Analytics is cookie-free and uses a short-lived, session-bound identifier that does not persist between visits and cannot be used to identify individuals.

Your consent choice is stored in your browser’s localStorage. This is technical storage on your device and is not transferred to us. You can delete it at any time via your browser settings.

5. Third parties and data transfer

The website is hosted on Vercel Inc. (USA). Anonymised analytics data is processed by Vercel in accordance with their privacy policy. The data transfer to the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• Request access to the data we process about you
• Request rectification of inaccurate data
• Request erasure (“the right to be forgotten”)
• Object to processing
• Request data portability
• Withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing that has already taken place

7. Complaints

If you believe we process personal data in breach of the GDPR, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (datatilsynet.no).

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page shows the latest revision. Customers with active agreements are notified of material changes.
